Astralis and North invited to BLAST Pro Series

Astralis and North are the first two teams to receive invites to BLAST Pro Series which will take place in November, RFRSH has announced.

In July RFRSH Entertainment announced a new global world series called BLAST Pro Series. The first event will take place in Royal Arena in the Danish capital Copenhagen.

With Astralis and North receiving the first two invites, only four teams are left to be decided as participants at BLAST Pro Series which will kick off on November 24 with a $250,000 prize pool.

The event raised a lot of attention when it was announced that only six teams would be invited and all of them would be playing simultaneously on a massive stage. Fans will be able to choose the sound of the match they want to follow using headsets.

BLAST Pro Series will be the first high-level event in Denmark where Astralis and North will face each other and it excites Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen:

It is going to be crazy to play in front of a Danish crowd. And already knowing now that we are going to face North as well in front of 10,000 fans, only makes it even bigger. 

You definitely have to experience it before you truly understand it. It’s awesome to play in a packed arena and doing it on home turf with 10,000 people in the audience makes it even more awesome.

Many people have never experienced a live tournament, but all I can say for you is: Look forward to this! It is going to be huge.

The last four teams will be announced before August 31 when the ticket sales start.
